Nebraska Woman Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

U.S. Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that Tamara His Blue Horse, age 30, appeared before U.S. District Judge Roberto A. Lange on November 2, 2011, and pled guilty to an indictment that charged conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. The offense carries a minimum sentence of 5 years, and a maximum of 40 years in prison.

The charges stem from the sale of methamphetamine on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in 2010.
The investigation is being conducted by the Northern Plains Safe Trails Drug Enforcement Task Force. Assistant U.S. Attorney Ted L. McBride is prosecuting the case.

His Blue Horse was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending sentencing.
